This theme doesn’t do too much for me. Yes, I have traveled this month and I know people who have as well but I think they could’ve picked something a little more spring focused. Something about these months just says fresh and new to me and I was hoping the theme would reflect that as well.
That being said. I may not like the theme but I LOVE this bag. I actually saw similar bags on hautelook for $5 and was ready to buy some. I’m so excited about this bag and how functional and cute it is. It is made from canvas material with a zipper on the very top.

This was something that I was initially excited about when I received the bag. I can always use a nude/clear lip pencil because lets be honest, picking perfect lip liner matches for every lipstick color is just TOO much. I’m a low maintenance makeup kinda girl. And this will for sure be one of my holy grail products. I haven’t tested the longevity of the product yet but it does apply smoothly and easily.

This eyeliner is so black and insanely stay proof. I used this in my waterline yesterday and it did not move. It did not transfer, smudge, or wear-off. It will take me a long time to go through all of this but when I do I know I will repurchase this.

I love this product. I wasn’t crazy about getting a facial cleanser but after trying it out for a week or so I love it. The smell is a slight citrus and my skin feels so clean after using it. I still need to use it a bit more to determine if I would purchase this and make it part of my routine but it is definitely a contender.

With Coachella going on this month this theme is perfect. I personally love this theme! Not as much as I love pink and glitter but, anything with a bohemian vibe is a close second.

Ipsy has been hitting it out the the park with their bags lately. This one is so cute and well made. I love that the zipper placement is directly on top and the textures of the bag are so awesome. I will be using this for sure.

This product is handmade and vegan! A huge plus. The lip balm is very smooth and easy to apply. The scent is kind of strange to me, maybe a little like patchouli. I’m not sure. It’s not the most moisturizing balm But it would be great during the day over a lipstick or something. There is a light pink tint that is very sheer. It is buildable but I probably would not use this on my cheeks. This will strictly be a lip balm for me.

I will be using this all summer for sure.

This color is a mid-toned pink. Honestly, its a great spring/summer color but, it’s a little too toned down for me. Particularly during the summer I want neons and brights. I am actually going to put this on later today but, that’s only because I am waiting for a brighter color in the mail.

NYX Cosmetics – Butter Lipstick – Color: Little Susie

I am so excited I got this color. The other two options were a purple and a light nudeish-brown, none of which i would wear. This is a gorgeous pink color. The formula is so soft and buttery and applies a sheer layer of color. This is one of the most hydrating lipsticks I have ever come across.

Chella – Ivory Lace Highlighter

This fresh and pretty neutral pencil will brighten and visibly lift your eyes when lightly applied on the brow bone, dark circles, blemishes and red spots. In addition, this multi-purpose pencil can be used to brighten and “open” the eye area by applying to the water line and inner corners of the eye. Applying a thin, blended line down the center of the nose creates the illusion of a thinner nose. Perfect for highlighting a beautiful smile by eliminating dark shadows and preventing lipstick spread by applying to the Cupid ’s bow and along the lip line.

I have been dying to get my hand on this product but I could never justify $18 for a highlight. Thank you Ipsy! I love that is it a pencil instead of a powder. I know lately I have gotten a million highlighting shades from Ipsy and I am sure I am set for life BUT a girl’s gotta have her options! Especially when one option is something as fabulous as this one. This formula is so creamy and blends out so nicely.

Dr. Brandt Skincare – pores no more anti-aging mattifying lotion

This is one brand I am disappointed in. I like the products but they are not cruelty free. You can bet that this will be going on my swap board. This brand is actually really great because every product I have tried from them works! Aside from the high price point I would recommend this brand for anyone not looking to be cruelty free.

MARSK– Mineral Eyeshadow – Color: Lucky Penny

This color was a score for me too. The other option was a silver, which I would never wear. But when swatching it I am fairly disappointed. I’m sure we can all agree that $22 is expensive for ONE shadow color. So safe to say I was expecting something gorgeous. The color payoff is just not there. I will probably use it as a base color because it is not as vibrant as it should be. To be honest you’ll get more payoff with the L’Oreal Infallible shadows. The only positive is that the MARSK brand is cruelty free and the other is not. I also think the packaging feels like cheap plastic, not as high end as it should feel.

Of course with Valentine’s day lurking around the month of February this was a perfect theme for this month. And the bag is insanely cute….

I love how hot pink this bag is and the pattern is adorable. The bag itself feels well made and has a zipper on the side. Really the only negative about this bag is the zipper placement.

Okay time to dig in. Cargo Cosmetics – Mini Lip Gloss – Color: Anguilla

A new generation of Cargo’s lip gloss. Its super high shine gloss delivers intense color payoff and locks in moisture to keep lips feeling hydrated. This longwearing lip gloss has a slick texture that feels creamy gliding over lips without being sticky. Ingredients such as Vitamin E and Jojoba Seed oil help increase lip moisture and decrease the appearance of furrows around the mouth while increasing lip volume to its maximum fullness.

I love pink lip products. They are my color. This gloss is a light, baby, pink. It is surprisingly opaque for a gloss but can also be sheered out. It is very sticky, which for me isn’t a positive, that just means my hair is going to get stuck in it. I haven’t tested it out much so I can’t speak to any of the volumizing claims. This is not my favorite formula. I like the color but for $16 I can get quite a few NYX butter glosses instead.

Demeter Fragrance Library – First Love Roll On Perfume Oil

First Love is an irresistible, unique and unusual light floral combination of lemon zest, jasmine, honeysuckle, water lotus and white rose. Demeter launched First Love several years ago, exclusively in South Korea, and it was so good that they just had to share it.

Roll on perfumes are so convenient. The vial seems very well made and I wouldn’t be afraid to throw this in my purse and go. This scent is very floraly. I can definitely smell the jasmine, rose, and honeysuckle. It is light and a nice scent for spring. I haven’t tested it out so, I am not sure about it’s staying power. I can say that I love their website though. You can shop by fragrance name and then they have 11 different options for each scent. From 4 oz spray to roll ons, massage oils, shower gel, even diffuser oil!

The point system is still working out some kinks and Ipsy team members seem to be taking Ipster feedback into consideration. Many people suggested more choices – so they gave us more choices. This is my bag with some extra goodies.

Each month has a theme and comes with a cute little insert. This month’s was “Fresh Start” There’s always something about the “fresh start” or new year theme that is appealing. The bag.This is the first bag that I am not loving. I personally HATE color blocking. The half blue, half white, coral/orange zipper combo just isn’t making this any better for me. I love the bag itself. It is made well, the zipper is on the top, and I really like whatever material it is made of. But I am certainly not complaining. I have enough Ipsy bags. Okay time to dig in. This little guy came at a perfect time. Can anyone say cold, dry, chapped lips? Well, I can’t really BUT I can appreciate that others definitely need this. The balm has a nice light scent to it, certainly not overpowering. It is a clear gel formula meant to soothe lips. So far it has lasted on my lips for three hours and I still have a nice coating on there. I thought this was a full size product until I saw the website. The sample size is as big as my other lip products. I can’t see buying it for $12, but that’s just me. Elizabeth Mott – All Over Shadow Brush

Don’t miss a spot with this ridiculously soft shadow brush. This brush with its 100% synthetic bristles is the perfect multitasker. Use it to highlight your brow bone and place the right amount of color for perfect and even application! Your lids will thank you later!

One can never have enough brushes. Plus, IT’S PINK. The brush is nice and firm so it will be perfect for packing on shadow. Only time will tell how the brush holds up to washing and use but I don’t think I will have an issue. Ipsy feel free to send me a new brush every month, I’d love a few blending fluff eye brushes. I am not a big eyeliner user. I mean mostly my eyeliner is smudged out eyeshadow. This one is pretty impressive though. The applicator is nice and firm and thin, so it will not move during application. The liner itself is very black and dries within a few seconds. I swatched it on my hand last night and I had to really scrub it off with soap and water, which leads me to believe its staying power on eyes will be great. I would definitely recommend an eye-makeup remover with this product.Pacifica– Natural Mineral Coconut Eye Shadow in Ethereal

Oh Pacifica. I love this company and their products. I have never been disappointed. This shadow is smooth and creamy with great color pay off. The shade is light and will make a great brow bone, highlight, or inner eye color. The only downside of this product is that I cannot find it anywhere. Pacifica does not normally sell individual eyeshadows. They sell palettes that range from $14-$32. This product is definitely the same size, if not larger, than a typical individual eyeshadow. So in some ways it is a sample (because it isn’t a Pacifica trio or palette) but it is also a large sized eyeshadow. I also could not find this color anywhere. I looked all over their site and this color is in none of their eyeshadow palettes.

I loved this bag this month. The fact that all the items were from companies who are cruelty free was such a plus. I went into this year knowing that I would probably have to give away some of my Ipsy stuff because of my new commitment. This bag gave me hope that I might not have to get rid of that many items. Thanks Ipsy!

I swear I am adopting that as a life motto, thanks Ipsy. It’s safe to say I love the theme for this month.

On to the bag…

The bag is a sleek plastic material made entirely of silver glitter with a pink zipper on top. Ipsy is super girly, but this bag takes the cake. It feels decently made and it combines glitter, sparkle, and pink! Yupp, I’m all about that. This bag had a little something on the inside as well.

Ipsy partnered with Forever 21 to come up with this bag. This doesn’t surprise me much. They always have super cute accessories and beauty items there so this is fitting.

Okay, okay, enough about the bag. On to the good stuff, right?!

SeaRx Skincare- Micro-Dermabrasion Face & Beauty Scrub

Exfoliate your whole body with this all-over scrub, which utilizes an advanced crystal blend system. The gentle scrub effectively exfoliates, removes dead cells and reveals softer, healthier skin. I haven’t tried this yet. But it does smell good and the scrub is very very fine (micro-derm). It almost seems like a lotion.

IT Cosmetics – Bye Bye Under Eye – shade: neutral medium

This tube is so cute and mini. The packaging is very sleek and convenient. I was very worried about this product because they sent it in the shade neutral medium. I have never been a “medium” skin toned girl. I am usually light. After trying it out I actually like the shade. With some blending it works well into my skin and feels awesome. A little bit goes a long way so I imagine this mini tube will last me a while.

Be A Bombshell Cosmetics – Eye Base – Color: submissive

This eye base is a highly pigmented, long-lasting product that can be used as a single cream color or used as an eye base to build color.

After seeing  the picture of this in my glam room I thought for sure I was going to hate this color. It looks like a dark olivey-brown shadow, ew. I was so WRONG! The shadow itself is creamy and easy to blend and the color is gorgeous. It is a light gold/champagne color with some subtle shimmer. I can’t wait to use this in some new eye looks!

Marc Anthony -Oil of Morocco Argan Oil Volume Shine Hairspray

I have not tried this hairspray yet but it smells nice and I love everything it claims to do. I received the beach spray from this brand before in an Ipsy bag and it was okay. I wouldn’t buy it again but I am still using it. So I am curious to see how this hairspray hold up. For the most part I don’t like a super heavy hold. We will see. I was slightly surprised to see this as a travel size when it is such an affordable drugstore item, but more about that later.

Starlooks – Lip Gloss – color: Guilty Pleasure

Starlooks Lip Glosses are created with a truly moisturizing, luxury, non-sticky formula. This neutral-rose, yet glamorous shade provides the perfect glisten for any lip look and complements any skin tone! Can be worn alone or in combination with other Starlooks lip products for a truly customizable finish.
Ipsy hit the nail on the head with this gloss. Of course they are going to be on trend with the fall colors and even the mauvey/brown lips that are so popular right now. This gloss is the perfect color for me. I love this new trend but lean more towards pinker mauves than brown mauves. This color is a beautiful light pink neutral mauve with awesome color pay off. It smells amazing, but I do find that the formula is a bit tacky, even though they claim “non-sticky”. I also want to note that it is sold out on Starlooks website.

Overall this bag was a huge hit for me. I really loved everything in it and will truly use everything. I did mention before that I was surprised the hairspray was not full size. I know that the value of the bag is there and I am not complaining about it’s size. I actually really love the cute travel size and think it’s great for carrying around with me and I know the full size would be a pain to package and ship. It was just an observation. I think I am just used to getting used to the large sizes being cheaper products and the sample being the more high-end products.

Value: over $25. Just the eye base and under eye coverup combined is a $24 value, which is already more than double your money. Even when Ipsy has a bad month there is always some value there.

I don’t even have an excuse for why I am writing this review during the first few days of November.

So lets just get right into things.

Now for the good part, the bag.

Each month has a new theme and a new makeup bag to fit the theme.

The theme was Beauty Candy and the bag is super cute. The color is  a nice teal/turquoise and the feel is very slick. I like this because both the inside and outside seem like they can be whipped clean, which is always a plus in a makeup bag. The one negative to this bag is the zipper placement. I hate when the zipper is not directly at the top. Bags that are designed like this are much harder to get into if I use it in my purse everyday.

Now lets dive into the goodies.

City Color – Be Matte Lipstick – Cappuccino – 0.105 oz. / 2.90 g full size – $5

Be Matte Lipstick is every girl’s must-have secret. Its rich formula is highly pigmented and enhanced with Vitamin E to nourish your lips and provide long-lasting color. Available in 36 stunning shades, your lips will never feel dry and maintain the perfect shade throughout your day.

I like the formula of this lipstick. It’s not too drying and the color payoff is great. The packaging is simple and cute and the price is right BUT I hate the color! It shows more brown on me than anything and it just looks terrible on me. But that is not the lipsticks fault. I would definitely buy this product in a different shade.

Skyn Iceland – Mini Glacial Cleansing Cloths – 2 oz. sample size – $15 (full size, 30 cloths)

When you’re too tired to deal with the whole cleanser and wash cloth routine, these on-the-go foaming cloths are the ultimate skin savior. Infused with Icelandic glacial waters and beneficial natural extracts, they sweep away makeup, dirt, oil and other impurities while refreshing and soothing stressed skin. Best of all, there’s no water required. It has a clean scent, never tacky. Great for travel or every day!

These are amazing. The foam up without water but don’t leave any kind of film on your face. They take off everything, even waterproof mascara, and they feel wonderful on the skin. I have been using them while traveling instead of face wash and they are perfect. I will definitely be purchasing these.
Doll 10 Beauty – H2Glo Highlighter – Champagne – 0.15 oz / 4.5 g sample size –  $30 (full size, 0.35 oz. / 10 g)

Doll 10’s H2Glo Highlighter features a lightweight cream formula that glides on easily and blends beautifully to help you achieve a truly dewy complexion. Add a dose to your cheeks, brows, décolleté, or wherever impulse strikes, for a healthy hint of highlighting sheen.
Fortified with skin-boosting ingredients, and natural pearl essence, this unique, non-drying formula imparts a natural-looking luster that won’t settle into fine lines and wrinkles.

This stuff is a cream blush that is marketed is a highlighter. The color is great for my skin tone and gives just a slight dewy-ness. The idea behind it is no blending and subtlety. Too bad I really have no use for it because I am naturally “dewy” ::cough:: oily ::cough::. As a random note, it smells amazing, like vanilla sugar cookies.

Figs & Rouge – Hand Cream – Mango Mandarin – 20 ml / 0.67 oz full size – $6.56

Figs & Rouge Shea Butter Enriched Limited Edition Hand Creams are deliciously fragrant & indulgent. These delectable creams soften, nourish & thoroughly pamper hands throughout the day, quickly absorbing to provide super-soft skin.

Can I just start by talking about how cute this packaging is. I just want to take this little guy with me everywhere. The screw cap is adorable and the colors are awesome. It is the perfect size for a purse hand cream and it smells amazing. Getting it this time of the year is perfect too with all the cooler weather coming I definitely need moisture. Is is not a heavy formula and seems to melt right into your hands. It will be a sad day when I use all of this up. They do sell bigger sizes for around $13.

 

ECRU New York – Acacia Protein BB Cream Beauty Balm for Hair – 30 ml / 1 fl. oz. full size – $12.00

A first in haircare. Finally, an ultra-light, incredibly versatile, all-in-one multifunctional beauty balm that harnesses the moisturizing and protective power of the patented Acacia Collagen™ for ultimate repair, conditioning, manageability, smoothness, body and shine. Perfect for all hair types. Color safe. Paraben free.

This product I was a little ehhh on. It doesn’t smell good and I don’t really like balms for my hair. I prefer oils in my hair. This balm was a good formula and didn’t wear my hair down but it also seemed to add a bit of texture to my hair. I am not into texture so that was a negative for me as well. I tend to be a bit picky with my hair products because I already have ones that I like to use. Larger size 4.2 oz for $30

Over all this was a good Ipsy month. Not counting any of the sample sizes it was about a $28 value which is almost triple what we pay for it. Definitely better than September and I am looking forward to November because it is their anniversary month. Those bags tend to be a little bit better.

I stated last month that I was not giving up hope and I was still Team Ipsy and I’m glad I stuck through it. So let’s get to it.

So first things first… (I’m the realest) ….no but really… it come is a pink bubble mailer!

I mean how can anyone hate a pink bubble mailer?! I certainly can’t.

Each month has a new theme and this months was “street style”. Super cute and a bit more adult than last months, if you ask me.

Each month has a new makeup bag. Some are made better than others and some are cuter than others. This months was a hit!

How awesome is that bag?! The quality of the bag is okay. I don’t think it is their most durable but I’ve certainly received flimsier. It is a darker silver color with some cute little studs and I love that the zipper is on top instead of on the side.

So now the fun part…

This bag came with five products- three full size and two deluxe samples.

NYX- Hot Singles Eyeshadow in HS67 Burlesque- full size 1.5g- $4.50
Hot Singles are intense! Powerfully loaded with pigments, this versatile formula lets you make a statement for any occasion. Whether your look is edgy or natural, NYX’s unique formulation is easy to blend and build on. 88 amazing shades inspired by the latest fashion runway trends.
So NYX is an okay brand for me. I don’t think thier stuff is amazing but I also don’t think it’s terrible. When i first saw this shadow in my glam room I was hoping to not get purple. But I don’t know why. This is a gorgeous color and can be applied lightly or applied on the heavier side. The shadow is a bit dry and the color pay off isn’t amazing as some other shadows but I think I like that from this shadow. I would much rather have this color come off light than dark.

Pacifica- Natural Water-proof Eye Pencil in Fringe- deluxe sample size .026oz- full size $11
These rich water-proof, buttery smooth eye pencils glide on smooth and deliver big color pay off with every stroke. Long-lasting natural formula, provides hours of wear and contains beneficial ingredients great for the sensitive eye area.

I am a big fan of the pacifica brand. It’s affordable and amazing quality. I am starting to use eyeliner more and more and I love that this is water-proof and brown. The formula comes off pigmented and smooth and creamy. I will be trying this out tomorrow to see how long it lasts. It also smudges beautifully.

Cailyn- Art Touch Tinted Lip Gloss in 09 Basic Instinct- full size 0.14 oz- $19

I am in love with the Cailyn lip products that I have received from Ipsy. The color is this gorgeous pink-mauve-nude-ish amazing color. It is a gloss so the formula is sticky but it comes off smooth and the pigment is amazing. I am going to relate it to the color payoff from the NYX butter glosses, but those are certainly more affordable. I get spending money on lipstick but I don’t know about 20 buck on a lip gloss. However, if Ipsy wants to keep sending them, I’ll keep loving them.

Nordstrom/HauteLook Beauty Bag Review

Hey all! Have you missed me? I’ve missed you! 

I’ve been stuck in my study cave for the past 2-3 weeks because of finals! I’m sure you all know how that is. I saw the light of day maybe twice and drank so much coffee I’m sure I could’ve powered a small city. 

During a brief escape from my cave I managed to check the mail and received some packages! One of which was the Nordstrom Beauty Bag July 2014 that I ordered from HauteLook. If you don’t know about HauteLook yet, you’re welcome. This site has everything – clothing, accessories, housewares, and beauty. The products are all discounted and I’ve found some pretty sweet deals on there. Sometimes the shipping takes a while, but when I am getting gel nail polish for $6 or a hair straightener for $27 (originally $200) I’m willing to wait. 

Last month they came out with their Beauty Bag collab with Nordstrom. I was given a heads up about when the bag was going to launch from another blog, which was a good thing because it went live at 11:00 am and was sold out by 11:15 am. I am not kidding, when I say I was online shopping and driving which, may be slightly frowned upon and not the safest thing, but we all survived.

Okay, Let’s get down to business.

So the bag was $25 plus $5.95 shipping. I also received the bag in about 2 weeks, which is super fast for HauteLook. It contains a wide variety of beauty products mostly deluxe sample/mini size and so far I am loving it. 

 

This is the bag that everything came in. It’s cute for a makeup bag and very well made. The inside of the bag is lined very well (like makeup bags should be) in case of spills or messes. I would actually use this bag for travel.

The products are listed down below. Some of them I have been using and I will include a brief review of them.

 

Estee Lauder Sumptuous Infinite Mascara – color:black 

 

Lorac lip lustre gloss – color: peach lustre – 0.07 oz. — I love this color and it smells amazing. The gloss is a little sticky but other than that I love it. This is my first Lorac product and I am impressed.

 

 

 

 

 

Smashbox photo finish primer – 0.25 fl oz — Oh smashbox. Many of us already love their primers and for good reason. I actually already own their blemish control primer and I will be keeping this as a backup in case I run out of the other. 

 

Lancome- Renergie lift multi-action with spf 15 – 0.5 oz — I really like this moisturizer and the spf is a complete plus. If I did not already have my moisturizer routine down then I would probably purchase this and who know maybe I will continue to use it and start to love it more than my current picks. 

 

Bottega Veneta essence aromatique -.25 fl oz. — This fragrance is described as “fresh, floral, oriental fragrance with touches of zesty citrus.” I describe it as old. I am always careful with perfumes to try and choose scents that are mature but still playful. To me this one just screams old. I might just give this one away. 

 

 

Purity made simple by Philosophy 1fl oz — I have heard so much about this cleanser and I was so excited to receive it in the bag. It is a 3-in-1 cleanser for face and eyes. So far I like it. It seems to get everything off of my face without overly drying it. Even though the sample is small it will at least last me a month. I have used it everyday for a week and it is still 3/4 full.  I am not sure if I will purchase this yet but I am sure I will be able decide within the next week or two.

 

Ciate mini – color: pool party — I love these nail polishes but I did give this one away to my sister. When it comes to my nails I stick to nudes and pinks, usually in gel polishes. This blue was completely random and not my style.

 

 

Clinique Moisture Surge – extended thirst relief 0.21oz — I love this formula and  it is perfect as a daily moisturizer. It is light and gel-like and very hydrating. I have noticed that it is very similar to my favorite drugstore moisturizer though so I will not be buying this.

 

Living proof Perfect hair day 5-in-1 styling cream- 1 fl oz. 

 

Stila lip glaze- color: mango berry – 0.05 fl oz. 

 

Fresh rose face mask – 0.68 oz

 

 

 

Rosabotanica by Balenciaga 0.25 fl oz. –This perfume smells amazing with notes of rose, fig leaf, and white amber. I wasn’t sold on it at first but it mixes with my body chemistry well. This will last me a very long time because I am not able to wear perfume in school or any of my clinical sites, so I usually only wear perfume on date nights. 

 

Jouer lip gloss- color: peony – 0.08 fl oz

 

Whish body butter in pomegranate – 0.75 fl oz — This stuff smells amazing and a little drop covered both my arms and hands! I will be purchasing this. 

 

Mario Badescu Kiwi face scrub — I am already a fan of Mario Badescu products so I loved this before I even tried it. It made my skin feel smooth and fresh. 

 

Molton Brown Pink pepperpod body wash – 1 fl oz — At first I was unsure of the smell but it is beginning to grow on me. I actually LOVE how my skin feels after I use this body wash though. It just makes it feel soft and clean. Not many of my other body washes have the same effect. 

 

So thats everything. Overall I loved the bag and felt it was worth the $30ish I spent. Did anyone else order this bag or use some of these products? Let me know what you thought?

Decluttering My Life. Step 1: Bag

So I was inspired today by one of my favorite YouTubers Jessica who has a channel where she reviews beauty products and other items. Go visit her here!

She recently posted a —  tips for decluttering your life video.  I watched it and it was almost like a sign that it was time for me to start doing the same.
So where did I start? With my bag/purse, duh!

Something you should know about me first, I put EVERYTHING in my bag. I use it everyday for school so you can find anything in my bag.
As I was emptying my bag I figured I would snap a photo of all the unnecessary items and analyze here.

Let’s begin….

TADA! Okay time to analyze it all.

Ignore the scrubs and books. Why is there so much trash?

Apparently I am never by a trash can.

I have a pencil case but none of the items are in it! Go figure.

I can’t believe I had 2 full packs of travel tissues in my purse. I didn’t even know I had any.

Three lotions!! The Jergens is years old (ew!), the body balm I just got in my May Ipsy bag (my post) (sign up here), and the smaller tan one was from a hotel. I don’t always take hotel travel items but this lotion was so awesome I had to swipe it! Still I don’t need three lotions.

I know I am a girl but still, five lip glosses is just excessive. The light green is a C.O. Bigelow Menthol clear gloss that I really never put on during the day because it makes my lip color run. I find it is better at night.  A bubble gum pink and a hot pink baby lips, seriously. And the other two glosses are pretty much the same color! Why? I have no clue. I took everything out and added a  clear baby lips for when my lips get dry. Other than that I can put my lip color for the day in the bag.

I have a ton of hair but not that much!

There is no explanation for this. I thought I only had one in there. Surprise!

These always fall to the bottom of the bag and I can never find them. Not useful there…

Okay so one of my secret weapons for headaches is Tylenol extra strength. But I certainly don’t need two cases for the pills. The smaller one was empty and still in there! Ridiculous.

An umbrella is necessary in Florida. It can pour on a moments notice. Especially during the summer we usually have a 3pm downpour daily.

Self explanatory.  I need the wallet. P.s I scored it from a Vera Bradley store that was closing for $12! This is also large enough to fit my phone inside incase I do not want my large bag with me.

My holy grail. I work off of to-do lists and could not survive without this little guy. Unfortunately for him, he has been replaced by my brand new Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 tablet. My laptop battery is shot so I thought I’d get something smaller to carry around and take to class. I now have a huge to-do/calendar app.

That is a reuseable/washable snack bag. It is perfect for pretzels and almonds and any other delicious goodies. However, it was empty.

Under all of that stuff is a white envelope. It contained something addressed to me that had been opened already. It was empty.

 

I’m starting to see a trend. I guess I need to walk by more garbage cans.

 

It has been in my bag for 2 months.  Never used. Won’t be used for another 2 months. ::Sigh::

And finally, these items were missing from my bag but they are usually in there so I included them! Gum, Tide to-go stain pen, my phone, and a calculator.

 

The final product…….drum roll please……..

The tissues, q-tips, tweezers, oils absorbing sheets, hair ties, bobby pins, nail files, hair brush, and tylenol all ended up in the tan/green canvas bag. You may recognize that bag from my May Ipsy bag. All of the pens, pencils, highlighters, and the stapler are all in the pink shimmery pencil case. The tablet (my pink case is coming tomorrow) replaced the bulky planner. The large green folder contain loose leaf for school. You can see the umbrella in its own side pocket and above it is hand sanitizer — I didn’t have it pictured because it is attached to the bag. The wallet is in its own compartment and next to that is the lip glosses (2- 1 pink and 1 clear) in their own compartment.

 

Mission Accomplished!
